From the very first glance, Tousey Winery in Germantown, NY captured my heart with its rustic charm and warm ambiance. Nestled in the heart of Hudson Valley, this winery perfectly encapsulates the spirit of the region, and my evening there was nothing short of magical.

The bokeh lights playfully sparkled in the wine glasses, creating a dreamy and romantic atmosphere. As a professional photographer, I was thoroughly entertained, snapping away and capturing the essence of Tousey's lineup of wines. And as someone who lives for the moment, the experiential hospitality I received was beyond anything I had expected.
The standout for me was "The Sparkling Queen" bubbly. With its off-dry taste filled with notes of luscious melon, every sip was balanced with fresh acidity, culminating in a crisp and clean finish. This sparkling beauty truly made me feel like royalty for the evening.
But that wasn't all. The Rebellion Rosé, a gorgeous blend of Blaufränkisch and Merlot grapes, tantalized the senses. Its heady aroma of intense red fruit was absolutely intoxicating. Sipping it felt like a burst of summer, wonderfully dry, yet fruity.
The 2021 Riesling was a citrusy delight. Its lemony nose and bright fruit on the palate made it an instant favorite, with its medium body beautifully complemented by its acidic zest. And oh, the 2020 Hygge! A classic Sauvignon Blanc, bursting with tropical fruits and grapefruit, its mouthwatering finish was simply unforgettable.
Being the Gay Cowboy adventurer that I am, I couldn't resist striking my signature cowboy pose, wine glass in hand. The atmosphere, the wine, the surroundings – everything screamed fun and fabulous! My hubby Dino and I also indulged in their olives and the delectably sweet fig bites, which only added to the merriment of the evening.
