As part of the Hudson Valley community, New Rochelle is proudly taking the lead on Earth Day 2025 celebrations with a lineup of public events aimed at sustainability, education, and engagement for all residents.

- On Friday, April 25, elementary school students will plant a dogwood tree at Ward Acres Park in honor of Arbor Day. Mayor Yadira Ramos-Herbert and an ArborPro consultant will speak about the City’s Tree Inventory Program and its role in maintaining New Rochelle’s 16,000 public trees.

Visitors can meet local sustainability advocates, explore green initiatives, enjoy live music, and support local vendors and artists. Event details available here.
