After wrapping up a successful photoshoot for Alluvion Vacations, my stomach began to growl with hunger and a thirst for a culinary adventure. It was then that I stumbled upon a restaurant with a big rainbow flag swaying in the breeze and an "open" sign glowing in rainbow colors. The call of this inviting establishment was too strong to resist, and I decided to venture inside.
Stepping into 225 Warren Bar & Grill, I was greeted with a modern rustic yet clean fusion of decor that caught my eye. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, perfectly matched to the warm and sunny day outside.
I ordered the Just Peachy drink, a delectable combination of peach sangria with white wine and peach schnapps that quenched my thirst perfectly. It was evident that the bar staff's expertise was top-notch as every sip was impeccably crafted and bursting with flavor.
For my meal, I decided to indulge in fried calamari and a Greek salad topped with grilled chicken. The explosion of flavors with every bite was a true symphony of tastes that left me longing for more. As someone who follows a natural bodybuilding lifestyle, the protein boost was much needed and welcomed.
The exceptional service provided by the friendly staff made me feel right at home in the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant. I couldn't resist trying the local draft beer, the Mexican Lager by Hudson Brewing Co., which was a true revelation. The beer was the perfect complement to my meal, and it left me with a desire to visit their taproom the next time I was in Hudson.
As I walked out of the restaurant snapping a few more shots of the beautiful poppies right outside, my mind filled with gratitude for the wonderful experience I had just had, I couldn't help but appreciate the beauty of the Hudson Valley and Catskills in full spring bloom. The natural beauty of the area combined with the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the 225 Warren Street Restaurant and the excellence of its food and service make for an unforgettable experience. This is an outstanding LGBTQ+ friendly establishment that anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience should visit and one that I will treasure for a long time to come.
