Authentic Italian Pizza and Ambiance at Don Giovanni Neapolitan Brick Oven Pizza in Chelsea, NYC

Don Giovanni Neapolitan Brick Owen Pizza is truly a gem in the bustling neighborhood of Chelsea. As a travel and lifestyle photographer, I have visited many restaurants around the world, but Don Giovanni stands out as the first truly authentic Italian restaurant I have experienced in the United States. From the moment I walked in, I was transported to Italy with the traditional decor and ambiance, as well as the upbeat Italian pop music playing in the background. The restaurant's story and its warm and cozy atmosphere add to its charm and make it a welcoming spot in the heart of New York City.

But what truly sets Don Giovanni apart is its pizza. They rightfully claim to have the "Best Brick Owen Pizza in Town," and after trying it, I wholeheartedly agree. The Caprina pizza that my husband and I shared was a magical combination of flavors. The thin crust was perfectly crispy and bursting with flavor, while the goat cheese, fig spread, pear, arugula, and truffle oil were expertly combined to create a heavenly taste that transported us from a freezing New York City winter to a warm evening somewhere on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. The quality of the ingredients and the skillful preparation truly make Don Giovanni's pizza a standout.

To complement our delicious meal, we were introduced to an Italian Prosecco drink that was Blood Orange Limoncello Liquor with Prosecco. This unique and flavorful drink was something I had never tasted before and added a delightful touch to our dining experience.

The service at Don Giovanni was exceptional, with a welcoming and energetic Italian hospitality vibe. The staff was attentive, and friendly, and provided recommendations that perfectly matched our tastes. It was clear that they take pride in their restaurant and in providing an excellent experience for their guests.

Don Giovanni also offers a range of other delicious Italian dishes, including traditional Margherita Pizza, Quattro Formaggi, Pizza Pomodori, and White Clam Pizza. The coal-fired brick oven that they use to bake their pizzas adds a unique touch to their dishes and ensures that everything is bursting with flavor.
