About Maria Cabrera: Maria Cabrera Alterations & Tailoring is the culmination of Maria Cabrera’s education and 2+ decades of dressmaking/pattern making experience. Maria Cabrera began her career working under Robert Tonner at Tonner Doll Co. in 1998. Shortly after, Mr. Tonner sent Maria to Parsons School of Design in NYC, where she completed a Certificate Program in Fashion Design. Maria served as the head pattern maker for 18 years before ultimately deciding to open her own studio. More recently, the business has branched out into the sale of bridal gowns, formal wear, and bridal accessories, allowing Maria Cabrera Alterations & Tailoring to more comprehensively serve your bridal needs!
