Objects + Vessels – A holiday Collection from l’aviva home – Hudson Valley Style Holiday Gift Guide

l'aviva home is an NYC-based design studio working hand in hand with artisans around the globe to cultivate the development of luxury home collections.
Drawing from some of our favorite collections, we’ve brought together a new limited collection of Objects + Vessels—each of which carries with it a one-of-a-kindness, bearing the distinctive mark of the material from which it is formed, and the hand of the artisan who formed it.

Árbol Vases

These vases are the newest addition to our growing Árbol Collection. Each piece is formed from salvaged tropical hardwoods from the Bolivian city of Santa Cruz, where trees that are felled by natural causes—or for construction—are rescued by our team. A blend of nature and form, the vases recite the story of their material. Each is one of a kind and carries its own pedigree, with its specific type of hardwood called out.

Piedra Bowls Mirroring the form of our Piedra Collection sconces, these bowls play on the streamlined silhouettes of the stone masks of the ancient civilization of Teotihuacán.  Carved in the Mexican city of Tecali — which means ‘stone house’ in Nahuatl — each is sculpted from carefully chosen marble or onyx, and reflects the unique character  of the individual stone from which it is formed.
