Hudson Valley is famous for its amazing views and hiking trails. In fact, this is one of the main reasons people are moving into to the area or coming to visit from all around the World. For an avid explorer Breakneck Ridge, Mount Beacon, and Bear Mountain Park are on the bucket list, but that’s only the top of the iceberg!

We moved to the area years ago, and established a consistent nature’s beauty exploration schedule: the entire family goes hiking every other week or so. But can we say we’ve seen it all? Not yet! Every day we discover new places to explore and new mountains to climb – it seems like Hudson Valley is like a Pandora’s Box and keeps unfolding in front of you with no end in sight.

This time it was Edward Payson Roe Memorial Park. The entrance to the trail is hidden on one of the back roads in Cornwall on Hudson. It’s an easy hike with rope railings around the trail that leads you to the Tablet in the middle of the mountain. However, the spectacular views open up quite a few steps up (for experienced and geared up explorers only!).
